The renowned British author C. S. Lewis saw books as a gateway to learning and living, recognizing that when one follows Christ, the feet often follow the mind. Good books foster godly thinking and living. At the heart of our efforts is a 5,000-book library to support the discipleship and evangelism our Ugandan churches have long needed. Pastor Manzi, who has found the library useful, remarks: “The Veracity Fount library is exceptional. It offers a rich collection spanning systematic theology, biblical theology, biblical counseling, pastoral ministry, Christian biographies, and even fiction. For anyone passionate about theology, it feels like being a kid in a candy store.” We are open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. Come read, study, and research.Additionally, the Library hosts a Book Club every second Saturday of the month, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Over the years, we have read classics such as Pilgrim’s Progress, Mere Christianity, John Owen’s Temptations, The Hobbit, and St. Augustine’s Confessions. Our Book Club conversations aim to cultivate a hunger for reading among Ugandan Christians and to motivate those who struggle to read.
